Being an artist is not really a job, more a way of living and thinking.
My work revolves around being outside in the landscape either running, cycling, walking or swimming or being in my studio dealing with those experiences. Time outside allows ideas to be born or to be thought about, most of my inspiring moments have been outside, usually in the mountains. Back in the studio I can refine ideas through writing and drawing and then producing finished pieces. I am lucky to have my studio in my wife and I’s business of The Kinmel Arms Restaurant with Rooms, Bar, Tea Rooms and Lynn’s Pantry which I also use as a full time Gallery for all my finished pieces. The place is always bustling with people and an energising place to be.

Original framed works, mounted original work, cards, poems, pebbles, commissions…
all available at the Kinmel Arms Gallery!!
I am always happy working to commission and enjoy spending time to get to know clients so I can produce finished works that have meaning over and above just the image.
