Up early today and not running! Banged my heels yesterday in the pool on a tumble turn and one is bruised!! Wrote up and sent my Work Submission Form for exhibition at Capel Tabernacle next week. Measured and made templates for new shelving to house silver tea sets and china crockery for the Tea Rooms of St George, can’t wait! Reviewed my diary of Orkney trip and finished a poem which is below… Went to pick up 2 8×4 sheets of oak veneered board from Rhyl and posted 2 hampers out that were packaged last night.
Went to a Cheshire Life lunch at the Springs new Spa and Eatery with Mrs W, very nice and we wish Harry all the best with his new venture. Then went to Dyserth to cut all new shelving, with lots of help from my brother in law, from oak veneered board (there are crazy angles on everything as our walls are wonky!). Finally back to the studio to check 200+ prints that have just arrived from B2 printers (thanks Paul and Trudy) taken from one of my brush and ink works and destined for Three Castles car rally competitors in June!!

Here’s the poem, hope you can read the writing in my sketch book!
